This excellent timer will time three things at once and it is also a clock. Each of the three timing cycles has a distinct beep of its own. At its central job, timing things upward or downward, this does a fine job. But a couple of things make using this timer incredibly irritating:
--small, weak magnet that is poorly placed, making the timer both unstable when you're using the buttons (since the magnet is oriented vertically so it wants to rock side to side) and magnetically unsticky. This thing drops off the fridge constantly. I would put it elsewhere if I could but that's the only spot in my small kitchen that works. It can clip to things or sit propped up if that works for you, but if you're looking for something to stick on the refrigerator door and not go flying off if you close the door a little bit too hard, keep on moving, friend.
--the beeps, both while setting and for end of timing, are way, way too loud for my taste. Maybe in a commercial kitchen this much piercing volume would be useful, but it's overkill for a home kitchen, even one filled with people.
The triple timer feature is nice, even though I've never used more than two simultaneously. I'll hang onto this until it dies (which may be sooner than later since it often goes flying across the room), but I definitely won't replace it with the same thing. I've had a couple of Polder single timers with thermometer features, but they seem to have very weak internal soldering and tend to break with only minor abuse. So I'm still looking for the ideal timer.

it is a good timer. it works very well. There are several things that I like it: 1. use AAA battery not the button ones, so the battery lasts for a longer time, and it is very easy to replace the battery. 2. can set up 3 timers at the same time. 3. comparatively high quality and lower price.
There is also something not good enough: the magnet on the back of the timer is not stuck tightly and easy to fall off. I bought 15 timers, about 80% of them has loose magnets, but we can fix it, just need to buy some super glue.

My wife and I loved the old West BEnd timer so when it broke we wanted to replace it. This new one is fine, but it displays leading zeros (to the left of the nonzero numerals), which makes it difficult to read quickly. Bad human engineering.Customer Review: mine is west bend 40073 model

I got my timer at local walmart store, the model is west bend 40073. I absolutely love it. It's very self-explanatory and easy to use. it has a clock, count down or count up timer, and there are three channels that allow you to set three different times with each channel having a distinct sound. I have a Sunbeam timer, which is not good , nothing compared to this one. I carry it around with me all the time, it definitely has more use than a kitchen timer.
