Customer Review: Great grill, but didn't come giftwrapped

This is a fantastic grill, but I had a shipping problem. I bought this for my husband as a Christmas present, but it arrived without the gift wrap that I ordered. The grill arrived while I was away from home with "West Bend Indoor Grill" written in large letters on the side of the box. Needless to say, the Christmas surprise was ruined. I am still giving the grill 4 stars because it has been such a great addition to our kitchen, and my husband loves using it. So far, he has used the grill to cook bacon, sausages, eggs, pancakes, salmon, and lots of assorted grilled vegetables. So far, everything has been easy to prepare, and it all tastes fabulous. Keep in mind that it is a large grill, but its definately worth using the counter space.Customer Review: Great indoor grill

This grill is wonderful. With the glass lid, you place water in the pan below the grill and it keep meats and vegetables moist. There is no smoking on any of the items that I have cook. Heat up time is quick and clean up is easy. It has been so hot lately to grill outside, this is the next best thing. Since I ordered this grill I have used it many times. I've cooked burgers, steak, chicken, pork and even sausages on it. The meat cooks evenly and leaves those nice grill marks. I live in an apartment and it does not smoke, so I imagine the neighbors are happy about that. The flat surface is great for toasting burger buns. The whole unit is very easy to clean and I love the drip pan that you can add water to. Also, the variable heat option is a tremendous plus for me.Customer Review: Great product!!

This grill is attractive, it grills burgers, steak, chicken, hot dogs, etc. beautifully with very little smoke--even the time I forgot to add water to the bottom pan it didn't smoke very much--and the glass lid helps in lowering the amount of smoke. I sometimes use it to re-heat leftover meat and to warm breads, rather than using the microwave or oven. Most of it can be cleaned in the dishwasher. Would recommend this grill highly.
