This can opener works flawlessly. It is worth every penny. I have had at least ten can openers in the past, and this one is the best. I usually use a new electric can opener for a month or so, and then go back to the manual one. It is available it a variety of collors, so it should go with any kitchen decor. Looked for months for this can opener locally. Only available on line in this color. Swore I would never own an electric can opener, hated the look on my counter. However, this is sleek and looks elegant. It is easy to use and I absolutly love it. Best price and free shipping sold me on Amazon! I love this can opener and would recommend it to anyone. I had stopped using electic can openers a few years ago because I couldn't find one I really liked. I started using the hand operated Swing Away, which I still have on stand by. The West Bend doesn't take up any room and does the job better than any electric opener I have ever owned before.
