Customer Review: Basic timer with a few faults

This is a basic timer. The construction seems solid and the buttons are easy to push and work well. It's been dropped a few times, but has kept working.
Like all such timers you can't really operate it while hanging on the fridge despite the magnet on the back. If you push the buttons, it unbalances the timer and it falls off. You wouldn't think this was such a difficult engineering problem.
There are two problems with this particular timer. One, it does not remember the last time you set, so you have to reset the time every time you use it. This is a bit of a pain if you are timing the same thing over and over (like waffles), and it is a common feature in many other timers. Two, it has both a timer and a stopwatch. The reason this is a problem is that it is easy to hit the start button by accident and put it into stopwatch mode, which is really only a problem the first couple of times it happens and you're wondering why your timer is going in the wrong direction.
Fairly minor, I know, but there you have it.
